A Travellerspoint blog

July 28, 2010

sunny 15 °C

[b]I sent the weather report out about 7:48 AM CDT.
It took about an hour and one half to get the weather report out because I was having trouble with my laptop computer.
Later, I rode the bike to Coburn’s to get the St. Cloud Times and then rode to Wal-Mart to get some grocery.
Later, I rode the bike to Wal-Mart to get banana peppers, bacon and one 2 liter diet Dr. Thunder.
Dawn and Katy were waiting for their mother so Katy could fix her breakfast. About 10 AM Betty called from a town about 25 miles north and west of Little Falls that her car had broke down. She said the transmission failed. After some discussion, Katy went to get Betty to bring her back here until the situation can be resolved.
When Betty came to the house, Katy fixed her an omelet and I rode the bike to Wal-Mart to get bacon and one more diet Dr.Thunder.
Everyone except Betty and me went to meet with Desi at some park in St. Cloud. Bob came and then Bob and Betty left to tow the car Betty was driving back to their home. I offered to help if they needed my help but Bob felt they had the means without any more help.
I made my usual large salad with spinach, cucumber, red and green pepper, onion, raddish, tomato, salad banana peppers, about 8 cloves of garlic topped with lots of black pepper and extra virgin olive oil. Nya and Oliver made the dinner for tonight of baked stuffed chicken with cucumber salad, bread and ice cream desert topped with chocolate fudge. Their dinner wes very good.
